Reds to stay at redeveloped Anfield

Liverpool owner Fenway Sports Group marked its two-year anniversary of buying Liverpool FC by announcing their plans to remain at a refurbished, 60,000-capacity Anfield costing around £150m.
Director Ian Ayre admits the planned redevelopment will save a lot of money and will help to enhance the club’s spending power within the transfer market.
Moving to a new stadium at Stanley Park would have cost £400m for FSG whereas redeveloping Anfield with the same 60,000 seat capacity will cost a significant less money of £150 million.
