Neil Redfearn Resigns Post at Liverpool Women

The former Liverpool midfielder is out as head coach of Liverpool FC Women. In a shock move, Liverpool Women and Neil Redfearn have parted company today. In an official statement from the club, it has been revealed that Redfearn has resigned as head coach of the club with “immediate effect.”
The news comes after a 5-nil defeat to Arsenal in the opening match of the FA Women’s Super League last weekend. It also caps a rather tumultuous summer for the club that saw massive player and coach upheaval over the break.
