Hodgson tells it how it is in regards to Terry, Lampard and Gerrard

England manager Roy Hodgson has said that he will continue to play his experienced players in the first team unless there are other more capable players to replace them, citing Andre Villas-Boas’ time at Chelsea to prove his word, The Sun reports.
Talking about the experienced players like Lampard, Terry and Drogba in last season’s Chelsea squad, Hodgson said: “Andre Villas-Boas, when he took over the Chelsea team, decided maybe that was the way he would go — or maybe was advised to go by the owner. Yet they were eventually the players who came back and won the Champions League....
