Borini Never Wanted Liverpool Move

According to Fabio Borini’s agent, the Italian had planned to continue his development at AS Roma before they agreed a move with Liverpool.

The 21-year-old had just signed permanently for Roma in the summer, having played the entire season with the Italian outfit on loan from Parma, before they agreed to sell Borini to Liverpool for a fee in the region of £11 million.
This reunited him with manager Brendan Rodgers for the third time, having previously worked with the Irishman for the Chelsea reserves and also for Swansea in the 2010-11 season in which they earned promotion to the Premier League.
