Aquilani seals Fiorentina switch

Liverpool Football Club has announced that Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani has finally made a permanent move back to Italy after agreeing a three year deal with Fiorentina.
The former Roma playmaker made his move to Liverpool in the summer of 2009 when Rafa Benitez signed him for £20m. However, persistent injury problems saw the talented Italian to miss the majority of the season managing just 18 league appearances overall.
Aquilani, has since then, spent the remaining two seasons on loan away in Italy with Juventus and then AC Milan. The impending move back to Italy on a permanent basis was only a matter of time as new Reds boss Brendan Rodgers doesn’t consider the Italian to be a part of his plans. The transfer has completed already although the exact figure is yet to be ascertained....
